However, they are not the only African/Black groups who possess these features? Have you seen people from Algiers, Tunisia, Egypt, etc. as well as Black Americans?

Actually most East Africans are lighter than the West Africans (ancestors of slaves brought to the new world) and Southern Africans (not to be mistaken for South Africans who are from the country of South Africa).
There was also a lot of mixing with Asians and Arabs and Persians over the years changing their appearance.
But just like Europe, Africans look different depending on their ethnicity.
