Tylenol. That's pretty much all you'll be given permission for. No aspirin, no motrin, no ibuprofen...just Tylenol.

I have never had migraines before I was pregnant. I had a couple with my son, and quite a few with my current pregnancy. It is usually safe to take regular strength tylenol, but since I was getting headaches every day, I didn't want to. My doctor suggested having a cup of coffee when I would feel one coming on. He said one cup of coffee a day was safe. This worked for me.

I think just about everybody mentioned Tylenol, which is the only over the counter med you can take for the rest of your pregnancy and breastfeeding (if you choose to do so). Don't forget to drink sick amounts of water......not only is it good for you and the baby, but headaches are sometimes brought on by dehydration, sodium deficiency, and hunger. Chug a glass of water, eat a handful of pretzels, maybe that will help. My best friend was a "rice sock"...you just put dry white rice in a tube sock, tie off the end, and it can be microwaved over and over, and is flexible enough to put on your neck, shoulders, knee, anywhere! It might help your headache as well.

Tylenol is the only thing you can take during pregnancy. Always talk to your doctor before taking medications while pregnant!

tylenol was always what my dr recommended I've had 4 kids. If you don't feel safe call him/her and ask that is their job. and 9 out of 10 times the nurse will be able to tell you.

Put an icepack on your head and lie down in a dark room. Ask your doctor before taking ANY kind of medication during pregnancy.
