No, I am against the ban of any book. To ban a book is like banning free thought.

Harry Potter should not be banned. That's what is so great about living in a democracy. If there is something out there (a book, magazine, movie..), that you disagree with, you can just not give it your attention. But to want to ban a harmless work of fiction just because you or your religion don't believe in witchcraft, is just ridiculous. Harry Potter has opened the minds and imaginations of so many children and adults, when no other book could. If Laura Mallory really wanted to do something, why doesn't she just write her own book of fiction and compete with J.K. Rowling?

Those books shouldn't be banned!!!! This is America where we have men and women fighting every day so we can have the freedom to have any kind of book we wish! I think that The Harry Potter book series invites imagination into the minds of those who read them just as any other books do! Because they read of witches and wizards we should ban them NO WAY. The bible reads of spirits should we ban that too? I don't think so!

if u don't like the book, don't read it. if u like it read it. it is simple as that. why would a book be banned. i hated text books at school but i don't realy see a way to ban them. so......
there are diferent tastes in everything and there is an old saying, latin, it goes: degustibus non disputandum est
or in english, u don't discuss tastes. i rest my case.

Nope. They are a work of FICTION. I am a Christian and I see nothing wrong with them at all. I happen to really like them, actually.
