I can only judge being a foreigner, but since 1992 I have been in various parts of Greece and the Islands several times a year, so I think I am allowed to have a vision.
Over this period, Greek woman became more emancipated, stepping out of the shadow of their men. Depending on what area, countryside or city, they are more open for conversation and also willing to exchange visions and opinions. So in daily life, I experienced Greek woman to be nice and friendly, but towards foreigners always a bit on a distance. Plse consider this as a compliment.
As for the popular woman we can see on Greek Satelite television here in Belgium; they are no different then what we see on most European TV channels, except they are more beautiful.. let that be a compliment too.

I am a Greek woman so I can not be so objective.
But my opinion is that there are everywhere nice people and there are everywhere not so nice people.
So,there are women in Greece that are nice and the opposite as everywhere in the world.
I , generally ,believe that people are the same as everywhere!

I had a friend (female) she was very nice she moved away I haven't talked to her in years....
