then why when I wanted to install it, it asking me to back up my important data.. it makes me nervous so I cancelled it..

When I tried to update the computer ran slower and it kept shutting down just when I was doing something. I got rid of it as fast as possible now everything is back to normal.

Keep your old one. Explorer 7 is made to run under Windows Vista which hasn't been released yet. It uses a new graphics engine which makes the windows "transparent". I find it runs slow and searches just take you to advertising sites.

I downloaded it a few times early on and it sucked, so I went back to 6, but now they seem to have worked out the flaws and it works fine.

ie7 still has bugs in it and many problems need to be worked out/fixed.
once all the bugs get fixed i think it will be a better browser but for now stick with ie6 as its less troublesome for now

I didn't like it at first but the more I used it and the more familiar I became with it the better I liked it. I'm gonna keep it.

i've installed at home...its pretty good, except the toolbars are a pain
