Doesn't Britain give out billions of dollars a year in the form of aid packages? Doesn't Britain respond to natural disasters around the world? Doens't Britain engage in activities to make the world a safer and better place?

People who talk compensation and reparations are just looking for an easy payday. All nations have committed some atrocity on another... time to get over it and move on.

Define colonialism. One people taking advantage of another has always existed, see Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Africa, South America. Even China is made of many cultures, but all we hear about are the Han. So why is Britain to be singled out? They brought a lot to the party wherever they went, like roads, railroads, telegraph, hospitals, schools (including universities), legal systems, newspapers....
And as I recall only one colony had to fight for Independence, ours.
