My 9 month old has lost interest in solid feeding. He used to have more solids and less milk when he was 7 mo. After 7 mo. he started teething and then he was sick for about 2 weeks. Now he seems fine - but still doesn't want solids. I'm clueless what's happening?

Teething babies often reject food after an incident as you described - it's no biggie really - he will be OK. Just go slow and reintroduce foods periodically also if you are using Orajel stop it numbs the tongue and irritates the tummy of many children. Try instead Hylands(www.hylands.com/products/teething.php ) or Humphrey's(http://www.webvitamins.com/category.aspx?id=1&brandID=698) teething tablets -they are ittybitty and dissolve so don't worry about choking. This will calm his teething pain and restore his appetite. Good Luck!

even as my son became 9 months, he ate more effective solids than he did a bottle. The bottle in basic terms wasn't slicing it, he couldn't get finished adequate to stay satisfied. So I switched over to feeding him more effective interior the sunlight hours, and he might want to in common words take about 5 bottles, one among them being right earlier mattress. in the different case if all I gave him became a bottle, he'd want an 8 ounce bottle, with yet another 5 ounce one right in the back of it in basic terms to sense free! attempt giving your daughter a touch of juice for the time of the day. My son is 11 months and nonetheless isnt an expert with the sippy cup, yet with a touch help from Mommy, he can get more effective out of it and slightly any of it finally ends up on him or the floor (till he makes a decision he needs to attempt to take over). you even ought to undergo in ideas that even though it doesnt appear as if various that a lot, there is a few water in her solids. What I do is mix a touch bit more effective in such as his good meals, and perchance mix in a touch infant rice to make it no longer so runny. If she seems doing high-quality, and the healthcare professional thinks that she is healthful, then you definately haven't any further something to fret about. She's in basic terms turning out to be more effective busy with different issues, and by no ability going to wish to pay as a lot interest to breast feeding.
