OK. Roomates, I may have a possible female roomate moving in with me. Anybody out there that has already experienced sharing a house with a female stricktly as roomates, can you tell me how it ended up. Was it fine or did something happen? I am told she is quiet and keeps to herself and is very tidy. Is this a good idea or bad idea. Serious answers please thank you.

Since you asked this in the LGBT area, you must be either a gay man or lesbian.

I once shared a house with all women (at least two of whom turned out to be lesbians) and as a gay man, there were absolutely no male-female problems at all. So it's a perfectly fine idea.

If you are a lesbian, make sure you both have your intentions clearly stated before living together.

Either way, communication is the key.
Good luck!

I lived with the sister of a fraternity brother for two years, and it was fine. Nothing happened because I am not sexually attracted to females. We stopped being roommates when she got married and moved in with her new husband (who was my old fraternity roommate). They even had me as a part of their wedding party.

I'm gay and shared an apartment with two lesbians very satisfactorily. That's all I can say about my own situation.

It actually made me pay more attention to neatness. I became more inclined to clean up after myself.
