Don't get sucked into the high school drama that every job has. Just do things in triplicate so to speak. Make sure you rear is always covered, and eventually those going out of their way will burn themselves.

Let it go, the only thing that matters is that you have informed your supervisor of the situation and your supervisor knows what is going on, and what the truth is. As long as he/she didn't have a problem with your leaving early, it's non of your co-workers business. People should worry about their own work habits, and not that of others. That's the supervisor's job!

Hey, you did what you were suppose to do, don't worry about your co-workers, only worry about your supervisor. It sounds like drama to me, but you are incredibly smart because since you forwarded the email you send your co's to your boss, you're covered.

It sounds like your co wanted to get you in trouble, but always remember in any job you have, always tell your supervisor whenever you are suppose to, you're smart to cover your *ss. As far as your co-workers go, they wouldn't save you if they had to save themselves so I would let your supv. handle it and play dumb with your co-worker and just say you're sorry that she didn't get the email, but you sent it. Then let your supv. take it from there.

Anytime you send an email like that its always good to CC the supervisor. Also keep emails in your sent folder for a few days.

If you have important emails that you send, make another folder that you can move the important emails too.

I named my important folder "save my butt folder"

To handle that situation, print off all the proof you have and get your supervisor and co worker together and present it to your supervisor.

Well honestly I know what you are going through and I just got out of a job like that. Sometimes you can ignore them and just do your job and any questions or concerns should just go straight to your supervisor, but what i did and what i think is the best choice is to just try your best to get a different job.

If they dont like you they are not going to change their feelings they will keep on trying to make your life a living hell! Good Luck!

Don't sweat the small stuff. As long as you have proof that you informed your supervisor or the emergency than you're fine. Don't give a rats @ss about what the other employees say. This will only cause you stress, anxiety and eventually a job.

Keep working your butt off, don't address the incident further until or unless your supervisor questions you, and continue to play it cool. Your supervisor will figure out soon enough that you're an asset instead of a liability. We all have family emergencies to address periodically and it demonstrates where your values are. I

Just ask the supervisor if there is anything else that YOU need to do regarding the early departure. See what he/she says. If it's good with the new supervisor, then drop it.
