i have got a 4gb ipod nano how many songs can it hold and thinking on getting my boyfriend one for his birthday but a 2gb so how much would that hold 2 ????????

I have a 2gb nano. I have 346 songs on it, and there is still room for more. It just depends on the lenghts of the songs.

hi, well 1gb on an ipod holds around 250 songs so 2gb is 500 songs and 4gb is 1000 songs.

you sound be able to get around 700 to 800 songs on the 4 gig. Roughly 1/2 of that on a 2 gig model.

It all depends really on the bit rate of the songs too.

A 2GB will holds about 1000 songs. Trust me - I go to a private school!!!

4Gb will hold bout 700

so 2Gb will hold about 350

2 gb up to 512
but it really depends on how big they are which depends on the sound quality and the length but above is like generally how many u can fit
