I just now started my period. but it is very light. I have lower pain in both of my sides, my back, and have been going to the rest room alot. Could I still be pregnant?

well i took a test like a week ago. but it came up neg. it was already two weeks late. so i still be pregnant?

but my mother also told me she had her period with both me and my sister(duing her pregnancy). she had it lighter with me and heavy with my sisiter. so could it just be a family thing?

If you have taken a pregnancy test and it is negative, then you probably are not, though if you do not have a full blown period, I'd probably do another test in a few days. If you did a test and it was positive, that means you could still be pregnant or are having an early miscarriage. It sounds like you are having a lot of cramping (lower back pain, the desire to go to the bathroom frequently) which could mean either that the egg is implanting or else it is being ejected. Either way, it may make sense to check in with your doctor (particularly if you are in the process of any kind of fertility treatment).

Probably not. I have been trying to have a baby for 7 months now and that keeps happening to me. I get a really light period for about 6 hours and I think maybe I am pregnant, then the blood starts flowing. When I got pregnant with my son I had light spotting (pink and brown) right around the time my period was due. I thought it was my period but after 6 hours of no flow I took a prego test and it was positive. This light brown spotting lasted for 2 days. I guess it really depends.

Do you want to be pregnant? But to answer your question it is possible to have a period and still be pregnant. Just go to a doctor or a free clinic if you don't have insurance or the money. sometimes when a person wants to be pregnant our bodies will make us have symptoms of pregnancy. But you never know so just go and see a doctor.

Depends on:
-How many days past ovulation you are.
-If your periods usually start off light like this.
-If you usually have those pains.
Etc.
The best way to find out is to take a home pregnancy test.

I think you should go to the doctors asap. Depending on how far along you are, you could just be having some light bleeding or you could be miscarrying. You need to find out.
