If the Yankees are intelligent enough, they should know that their pitching is their strongest force. Since they let go their best pitchers after winning the series, they have been going down. They really should consider getting Clemens at any cost. That way with Petite and Clemens, ahh good old times! I think they will not let go the opportunity of getting Clemens, Torre will bring him in.

Regretably, I think he did lie to Congress. Petitte is a man of good character who claims Clemens did use steroids/HGH. I don't think he would deliberately attack Clemens' character because they are actually considered friends.Petitte is a moral guy, a Christian, who refused NOT to tell the truth. From his testimony, it is highly likely that Roger did use and did so for a few seasons. Jose Canseco claims Clemens didn't use. I wouldn't consider him a very good character witness. If convicted, Roger will go to jail for 6 months, and that's it. The worst punishment received will be not to be voted into the HOF. Imagine a 7-time Cy Young winner not in the Hall? What a terrible legacy to leave for fans everywhere.

Roger will not go to the Red Sox because he knows the Sox have a better team than the Yankees this year. If he joined the sox it would just be piling on and would be disrespectful to his Yankee fans. If he plays at all it will be for the Astros or Yankees.

Clemens will pitch for the yankees this year but probably not until after the all star break or later. He is getting to old to pitch a full season anymore.

I think the Yankees have the inside track but the Red Sox are also in the mix. With Andy Pettitte having left Houston I don't see him returning there, it's between the two big East coast giants of the game.

The Red Sox, Yankees, and Astros are the only teams he said he will pitch for. I think that he will come back to Boston for a storybook ending. Although, age is catching up with him, I wonder if he really will be a good addition.

Or, as his family lives in Houston, he may choose to stay with the Astros. he may go back for another season.

Or.... the Yankees could offer all the money and perks he wants. He may choose to go there.

I hope he comes to Boston, and ends with the team that he began with.

The Yankees will. The Red Sox have already signed Matsuzaka. I don't think the Red Sox will have enough money to sign him. The Yankees have a better chance because they traded Randy Johnson and were able to save alot of the money that they would have to pay Johnson had he still been there.

Clemens probably goes to the Yankees. The higher-ups in the Boston organization don't want him back, he burned some bridges.

The Astros! They are the front runner! Why did he come out of retirement? Because 1st off it's his hometown, 2nd the Astros give him time with his family and 3rd now they actually have a good offense!
