The answer is NO.
Godfrey was the first Crusader to rule in Jerusalem. He did reject the title of "King of Jerusalem". BUT he died in 1100 and the order of the temple was founded about 1120. So Godfrey, unless he was a zombie, which isn't mentioned in any chronicle, was dead before the order came to exist.

Godfrey of Bouillon and the Kingdom of Jerusalem
At the head of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem was placed Godfrey of Bouillon, the most valiant and devoted of the crusader knights of the Knights Templar order. Godfrey of Bouillon refused the title and vestments of royalty, declaring that he would never wear a crown of gold in the city where his Lord and Master had worn a crown of thorns. The only title Godfrey of Bouillon would accept was that of "Defender of the Holy Sepulchre." Many of the crusaders, considering their vows fulfilled, now set out on their return to their homes, some making their way back by sea and some by land. Godfrey of Bouillon, Tancred, and a few hundred other knights, were all that stayed behind to maintain the conquests that had been made, and to act as guardians of the holy places and the Kingdom of Jerusalem.

Li frere, li mestre du Temple,
Qu'estoient rempli et ample,
D'or et d'argent et de richesse,
Et qui menoient tel noblesse,
Ou sont-ils? Que sont devenu?
Nope don't think so! Templars founded by Hugues de Payns in 1118AD. 'Poor' knights dedicated to poverty, chastity and obedience and defence of the pilgrims.King BaudoinII of Jerusalem gave them the old temple of Solomon cloisters (hence the title). They were a kind of mediaeval foreign legion, got intimately involved with the saracens and sympathetic to Islamic culture and got very rich.(invented a credit card system for assorted pilgrims merchants and crusaders) This led to their downfall in 1307, when Philip the 'Fair' had them done for heresy (and because he needed their cash). A pogrom was an early form of equity release...
And then they vanish from history...??
