Yea perfect answer from the guy below, the temperature effects your fingers and you cant really dribble. Thats one reason why football receivers and QB's have the little thermal pouches to keep their hands warm for the game, so in your case just try not to play in the cold because it really messes up your game, from experience i know because i also play basketball. So yea gyms are better and thats where i play.

The manner the ball bounces is considering the fact that while you soar the ball, the air within the ball smacks the bottom, and considering the fact that of the regulation of physics ( each and every motion has an reverse response) the ball and the air within rationale the ball to dance again up. Since cooler air is way heavier, the ball would possibly not soar as so much considering the fact that the fuel debris within don't seem to be going to be relocating as rapid as they could if the air temperature used to be hotter. The warmer the fuel, the quicker the debris transfer. So you'll ought to repump your ball. And hold it in a hot dry situation to prevent warping (inflicting bumps and asymmetric floor) of your ball.

well,it does when is cold u can't shoot becase your fingers get hard and is hard to hanlde the ball.Bouncing does not have to do with temperature but with weather.
