It's inexpensive to buy that stuff here so long as you go to a market OUTSIDE of the tourist area. I've lived here for eleven years, and even the gas prices are jacked way up down by the attractions.

Take (or buy) lots of sunscreen - it's HOT in June.

The supermarkets in Orlando has some really good prices. Cheaper then the ones I shop in at home. Yes buy your toiletries when you get there. I always over pack and have to pay extra for heavy bags, so I understand you wanting to pack light.

Firstly you need to check what the situation is with airlines first. Some airlines may still be using the stricter rules regarding liquids/toiletries and not allow them on board.

Packing a full bottle of shampoo for just two weeks wastes space and adds to the weight of your luggage. Either decant the stuff into smaller bottles, buy smaller ones, or get them while abroad. Of course, if you MUST have a specific brand, or need special (eg hypoallergenic) products, you may want to take your own.

Bear in mind that depending on where you are staying, you find that the hotel will provide little bottles of shampoo/shower gel in which case you could use them (and then keep the empty botles for your next trip!)

When returning, you'll probably have lots of souvenirs and other thing you've bought out there (but remember the limits allowed by customs!) so you may not want to bother bringing any leftover back with you.

One other tip: as long as you have room and are sufficiently under the luggage weight limit, pack an empty flattened-down holdall in case you run out of room for the extras you bought.

My family always packs travel-sized bottles of toiletries and then we purchase full sized bottles once we get there. There is a super Wal Mart and a Target located on Hwy 192 in Kissimmee.

Unless you just like to waist stuff and have no environmental concerns about creating unnecessary trash, take your toiletries. What will they weigh? Two pounds, maybe?! And they can't take up that much space in your luggage unless you have already bought the industrial sized containers from Mall Wart.

If you stay at a decent hotel, they will provide all of the toiletries that you need and will refill them as needed.

In my opinion, you should just buy the stuff there. Have fun!
