In 31 years dealing with such matters, I have only known one case of retribution by two Irish brothers against the rapist of one of their daughters. So many people say what they would do and I have no doubt they mean it. Yet when the time comes to tell them who the attacker was, they break down and cannot believe it. For in all honesty, a very high percentage of them are uncles, brothers, parents, next door neighbours, vicars and priests, scout masters, solicitors, close family friends etc., etc., etc. It is rarely a stranger. It is the man who gave the girl sweets when she was five years old and a birthday present many years before. It is not the big man dressed in black with a hood over his head. It is the non-descript man from across the road. Teach children not only to beware of strangers, but also of those that the child learns to trust, for those are the ones who percentage wise, commit the acts that will ruin their lives.......

Hard to say.

My Faith tells me to forgive the piece of rat poop, and to let God handle it.

My initial urge to gut the offender with the rustiest spoonhandle I can find would only be tempered by my Faith and the fact that I would be of little comfort to my loved one while sitting in death row.

What about if it were a son, or a brother? That happens too everyday? Either way I don't know if I would be able to control myself, so I might castrate on the spot.
That is just one way to skin a mad dog?

An eye for an eye: let he who has raped be raped. Let him see how much fun it is on the receiving end. Then he dies.

This world is so friggin politically correct that we are no longer allowed to chop off the offenders member. I would sit back and enjoy what is coming to him in prison.....

Even by the code of Hammurabi, the punishment for rape should just be rape, not death.
