hey,
Its really nice that you care for her and I understand.
I think you have to say to her look, you dropped out last time, are you going to stick to it this time? I cant make you stay or do anything about it if you drop out. But if you want to get somewhere then only you can make yourself. Tell her you will support her whatever she decides.

This is a tough one. But could be that she has trouble with the subject of 'study' itself. Get her to look at her study habits, and whether or not she understands what she is reading. Nothing puts you off faster than not being able to understand things. If she gets help with that; then she should be able to stick it out and come out a winner! Good luck with your efforts!

You can't drag your friend into doing something she doesn't feel comfortable doing. Her parents tell her she won't make it, probably is telling her that her parents just don't want her going cuz of cost, or seperation from them. Explain to her, how important it is to go to college, because of an important job, you want to do with her. But if she doesn't want too do that, you can't make her, if your her friend you must understand that.

Sounds like SHE doesn't want it enough. You can show her the door but she has to walk through it.
you could always chain yourselves together and you can drag her to do what you want her to do.
You need to find something that will motivate her and keep motivating her, tough love perhaps.

If she can't take the pace maybe they could do an extended course for her with less intensive commitment.

well, can't you go to college and get what ever degree you need, (i think it will be florist), and then teach your Friend how to do the job that you have trained to do, then, she doesn't need to go to college, and you can still open the florist shop and work with her!
