Sex link disorder?

why are males more likly to experience a sex linked disorder than females?

I actually just got learning gentics at school, its because the females have two x chromosomes while males have a X and a Y chromosome. Most disorders are recessive and the Y chromosome doesn't have alleles on it so its more common for a male to have becuase Females have two alleles which gives them a better chance of getting a dominant allele
