Have lots of hiding places, even though they are intimidating to smaller fish, they are quite bashful and like to have rocks and places to hide behind. Love comets, or any smaller fish who will fit into there mouths..lol. The one I at my store is so tame, you can pat his head, as you hand feed him. He is beautiful, but shy if someone walks up to the tank and scares him.

Panther Grouper are eye-catching fish, yet both ruthless. I had one for a pair months, yet I had to get rid of it bc it made feeding the different fish no longer plausible. They devour each little thing. the only you've is small, besides the undeniable fact that it will advance sufficiently massive to devour the clownfish for positive, and the cardinal. Your one hundred gallon is a lot large adequate for a Panther, yet groupers mainly are continually really, and continually vicious. yet, for below 10$, you would possibly want to purchase the little demanding guy and save him till eventually he will become a difficulty and delivers him back to the fish save. If its no longer any larger than your clowns, he can't do any harm yet.

Just how large is your tank? (I'm hoping it's over 100 gallons, because you'll need it!) See info at websites below:

There's some conflicting info on these sites, but this may relate to a particular fishkeeper's preferences and wild/captive specimens.
