I have heard from some girls that they still got pregnant even if the male used the condom properly and perfectly. So how the hell do they get pregnant? Does it like spill out, or pass through, or I dunno how the hell that can happen.

So how can a girl still get pregnant even if the condom is used properly?

Thanks

Condoms are NOT very effective and have recently (within the last 5 years) been taken off of the World Health Organization and the CDC's lists for effective ways to prevent pregnancy. More on how they don't work in my link.

The female can become pregnant while condoms are in use for a number of reasons. The most common being they are not put on and used correctly. If they are not put on soon enough (i.e. the penis comes near the vagina without a condom properly in place thus exposing the vagina to pre-*** which can also contain sperm)

Condoms should also be stored properly. Carrying them around in your wallet can damage the condom, thus increasing the risk of them not working properly.

Condoms also can go out of date. Be sure to check the expiration dates on the condoms.

The materials condoms are made from break down when any type of oils are used. This includes several different types of lubrication's. Make sure you only use a water based lubricant such as KY Jelly.

Condoms are still the most effective way to prevent not only pregnancy but also STD's, other than abstinence of course.

They also make condoms that contain spermicide which helps kill the sperm and increases the protection level.

Keep in mind they also make different sizes of condoms for the more "well endowed" men to help prevent the condom from breaking.

Hope this has been helpful and clears a few things up for you.

Honestly (and I might get a lot of thumbs down for this), I think most girls will say they got pregnant using condoms when they did not use it right or actually did not use one at all. If a girl tells you she got pregnant because it broke or slipped off, that is different. Those things can happen, even when they are used perfectly. It's just really, really, REALLY seldom that they will break or tear if you take precautions to use them properly. (And you can find those instructions anywhere.)

The "microscopic hole" theories are simply not true -- it's a widely spread belief and myth, do the research -- at least not holes that are in condoms BEFORE packaging. Each condom made in the US is electronically tested for holes before it is packaged. Some condoms are additionally tested in batches using water or air burst tests. And get this: EACH condom is DOUBLE dipped in latex. That means that a hole would have to be in each layer of latex, perfectly lined up to the other one, in order for something to pass through it. The odds are incredibly, RIDICULOUSLY low!!! You will see certain people and even websites that state that there are holes in condoms (from manufacturing). Don't believe them. They based this information off of studies conducted on latex GLOVES that are SINGLE dipped in latex. I am not kidding. Look it up. And these were usually based off of STD studies, not pregnancy studies. One of those rare holes found in a latex glove would allow the HIV virus to pass through, but not a sperm. That's because the HIV virus is about 500 times smaller than sperm.

However, you can put oil-based products on condoms, or store them in heat for too long and they WILL develop their own holes, that will go through both layers of latex. But that is not the result of manufacture error. That is user error.

So...just do everything RIGHT with a condom and you or your partner (I don't know if you are male or female) should not become pregnant by using a condom. If nothing broke, tore, or slipped, and you really did use it right, then you can be assured that your condom worked for you in that particular instance.

The only way a girl can get pregnant by using a condom is if the guy didn't put it on right or it had a hole in it but that won't happen very often. I think most females use that as an excuse.

A number of things that you'd probably never think of can compromise the effectiveness of condoms. Oil based lubes, or even hand lotion can degrade a latex condom. Opening the package with your teeth, a knife or scissors can cause small tears.

condoms are listed at 90-70 percent, which translates to a failure rate of 10-30 percent. These rates are based on birth prevention, not disease prevention.

The guy could have used the condom properly but maybe there was a tiny hole in it or something. I used condoms for years and never got pregnant so they worked great for me.

Condoms are only 85% effective, even if used properly. It says so right inside the box. When you're having sex you have to know that any birth control method because NOT HAVING SEX, can fail.

Condoms are not 100% effective, even when used perfectly all the time. Also, they have an expiration date so you have to check that as well.

Well, most the time its because they "think " it is being used properly. 3 outa 4 times it is because they are not used properly....or they put it on right before he ejaculates not thinking or knowing about pre-***. The other part would get through the condom(there is a teeny tiny little hole in each one i was told.
Thats why its always best to use the Spermicide ones w/ the stuff in them to kill sperm Immediatly

Condoms can split, break, slip off. The guy can have pre-ejaculate on his hands when he is putting on the condom and accidentally get some sperm inside a girl. Condoms are good, but not fail-proof.
