Some of it is some of it isn't.

For example, I just saw a Dolce & Gabbana dress for $545 - it's GORGEOUS and worth every penny. But, I also saw a Ralph Lauren "Lauren" collection shirt for $100 and it wasn't even as nice and some of my 10 year old J. Crew sweaters - that I got for $35.

For some of it, you are paying for the name brand. For some of it, you are paying for quality and fit. Much of it you don't realize until you have the chance to try on one item from an expensive line and one item from a cheap line - you *can* tell the difference. It's in the quality of the fabric, the stitching, the cut, the sizing, and all kinds of stuff.

It's kind of like you're just paying for the name, really. Some people look at the name and associate it with certain things.

I don't know people like buying high pricey fashion things just cause it's expensive. I don't think the prices need to be that high but I don't mine it!!
