Will Oakland's defense be as good as it was last year, and will the offense ever get better?

The defense will be good again in 2007 regardless of who the coach will be due to the fact they were good all by themselves.

The offense may take another year or two to get going especially with owner/GM Al Davis calling the shots and screwing up the team. If he could relinquishes the GM spot and hires a real GM to get better offensive players then they Raiders could possibly do something.

Oakland's Defense really was not that great buddy. The only really they ranked #1 in passing is because everyone could run the ball on them. Why pass when you can run? Their defense is average at best and next year it will be the same unless they sign some guys in the off-season. Their offense is ridiculous. They have a great offense on paper. They just need to get a good coach and either make the whiners on the team happy by paying them or trading them.

they ranked #4 in yards per pass attempt (which is the best way to weed out lack-of or excess pass attempts on a defense (although if they were worn out by more attempts it might be a larger amount). I will give props on the lack of TDs given up though

However I don't think either side of the ball will get much better

and what the hell do you mean by "forced TDs"?

I'll bet that they draft all offensive players in the draft, and most of them will be starters next year. In other words, get ready for another long season

Yeah the offense will improve when they draft JaMarcus Russel. As long as they keep Moss and Porter. They have to make that offensive line better too!!! Thats where it all starts.
