Has anyone else noticed the main Biblical inference that the makers at Bungie have thrown into the Halo series?

The Flood
The way to save life in the universe is to weather out the Flood on the Ark.

Any thoughts?

An ark doesn't necessarily have to always represent Christianity, or the bible. I think you are trying to make a pretty long stretch from Halo to the bible. Same words, but very different meanings. If it was a biblical reference they would say something like the Flood escaped on an ark to live, and found another place or something. The events are pretty different too.

Most people don't look into Halo that way. May be a coincidence or Halo's creator was a Christian.
