There's no need to take the risk of illegally downloading "free" songs (and possible viruses and spyware with them) when you can safely and legally buy them for $.10 - $.15 each. Full albums are less than $3.00:

I've used this site for almost 2 years now and love it! Millions of songs, no software to download, and it won't put any crapware on your computer.
Take care & enjoy!

wait...after the super bowl pepsi usually has a contest where you can win free songs from iTunes i won like 10 songs one year. It's only for about a month but they've done it every year for the last three years.
bit torrents are traceable if you really want to put forth the effort the problem with free sound files is the fact it hurts the artist in the end and you never know what you're getting.
Would you sleep with a stranger and not use protection? Downloading is the same thing. Protect your system keep it legal and use trusted sources.

Use torrents. Not traceable, therefore legal in my eyes.
