I'm thinking if you're not comfortable asking what the scars are from and are jumping to the conclusion that it involved an extremely rare genetic condition, then you have no business being anywhere near his penis.

Sweetie,i think that you should ask yourself a few questions.
Q1.Does that affect your feelings toward him?
Q2.Would it change the way you would look at your relationship?
If you answer yes to either,or both of those then you need to take a step back and realisticly look at your relationship. Were there actually feelings there or was the initial attraction what you relationship was based on?If it doesnt affect your feelings i would not bring it up.If he was,or if he was in fact a woman at birth then you need to respect that he may not feel comfortable enough to speak about that just yet.If it doesnt effect your feelings, just let it go,and trust that when he is comfortable enough to tell you,he will.I dont think it should effect your feelings for him hun,but then again your the one in this relationship. My cousin had some male problems when he was just a young child. They had to do a surgery down there. It may in fact be that it wasnt he was born a woman or had both parts but, that he actually had some medical problems. It isnt unknown, but if this effects your feelings. Please re-evaluate your relationship.Good luck hun and have a good evening.

have you ever thought that maybe the scars are possibly from a surgery to correct a hernia? Don't jump to such crazy conclusions... just ask him what the scars are from, if he is not comfortable telling you, leave well enough alone.

1. This is the forum for Pregnancy & Parenting, in the Adolescent category. Your question is not appropriate here!

2. Dump him without humiliating him. That you would post this question to a billion strangers and not come up with some tactful way to ask him what happened just shows how little you actually care about him.

I would say it doesn't matter. But regarding the scars, I had a friend who was doing high jump. He twisted the wrong way and his testicles actually got tangled, he had to go for surgery and had alot of stitches. So maybe it was a very weird accident.

I think that obviously he trusts you enough to let you see it (I'm guessing it might bothers him as I believe it would a lot of men). I'm not sure as to if you should ask, maybe just ask what the scars are from and leave it alone if he doesn't want to. On the other hand I think it's something that I wouldn't feel comfertable having someone ask me, I would feel more comfortable telling them when i felt ready. good luck

If you love him, does it matter? If he wasn't a hermaphrodite, how embarrassing would it be for you when you asked? If it will make a big difference in your relationship, ask. Or maybe you could hint at it by asking him him if there is anything he needs to tell you.

I would just ask what the scars are from, I wouldn't ask him if is a hemaphrodyte. If he's not then that might ruin your relationship. If you are really close to his mom, you should ask her.

I would ask him about the scar. I think hermaphrodytes are really female, though. The "penis" is just an extended clitoris. Not sure though. Maybe he is transgender?
