Old Abe was shot on April 14 at Ford's Theatre, and as a result, he died the next day on April 15, 1865. (7:22 AM)
He was 56.

FYI - In the movie Hellboy, they say Lincoln died on April 14, 1865, which is wrong. He died on the morning of April 15. Also, the Titanic struck the iceberg on April 14, 1912, and sunk on April 15.
