I am definitely ready for a change of scenery. I am so tired of the same old dishonest, corrupt, dirty old, dirt slinging type of candidates running and being elected to run this country of opportunity and supossedly equality.

Well, if by chance we do finally elect a women or another type of race of person into office and they actually get the chance to make the United States a better place, I will definitely feel that equality is at hand.

Some say that, "It ain't gonna happen..." But I feel like it is inevitable and has to happen so that the first can finally stop serving the last. If you believe in your bibles, believe that IT IS TIME PEOPLE!

I believe in my bible. That is why I will NOT vote for Obama, for he is far too liberal for my country

I do believe he would be good for social issues, he appears to be talking a lot about poverty and equality. I think this is why Oprah is behind him. However, I do not believe he has the skills or experience to really handle foreign affairs very well and after the meltdown we call the Bush administration, we need a good leader in cleaning up the foreign relations area as well as establish good domestic policies.

But from what I know of the situation, I don't think the US (primarily in the southern states) are ready to accept a minority president just yet. It is a sad state of affairs that skin color makes a difference still, but we know there is still a race card out there in the deck.

Whoever wins, I hope they just clean up foreign policy to win back some of the allies we once had in the world.

Good question. Thanks.

Get us in deeper dog do-do. If you're tired of the dishonesty and corrupt dirty old dirt slinging then why would we elect more controversy? He's not ready for the White House. He's more a GQ type guy.

I'm ready for a woman in the office. Condi 08! Yes!

He will most likely be a president ranked up there in success like say Jimmy Carter. If you like Carter's presidency then elect Obama. However, he will do a much better job than Clinton will.

Republicans need to vote on the democratic ticket for Obama

You may be in for a nasty surprise if you think everything will change just because we elect a minority president. Let Obama get some experience in congress for a decade or two. Then I will consider him. He hasn't actually done anything yet. I understand your desire for a fresh face in the Oval Office, but as a Minnesotan, I would caution you with 2 words "Jesse Ventura".

I agree. I do not think that Hillary Clinton is going to make it. America is still too young to face a change by having a femal president. Even so in Germany there are already is afemale chancellour.
Nevertheless, I think Obama is still not fully established in this role. He might be a great leader for his African American nation, but the majority here in the US is still white. Not to mention all the radical's that are against minorities, it would be a defeat to have him in the presidency. He would end up being assasinated just as Kenndy was back than.We would defintley repeat history.

Obama would accomplish being a successful puppet.
why you may ask?
He is considered black to his supporters, and since he is so low ranking in the DNC and even an extreme liberal to most liberals, he has to do a lot *** kissing. So, he will kiss their asses and then if elected president he would then be just giving hand outs to all of the people's *** he kissed. George Soros would control him and unless we had a republican cogress, we would be under complete socialism. Eventually our country would no longer be a world power, as that is the fate with all socialist countries. they don't necessarily fail, they just don't succeed

He is only one man and one person cannot make a difference. It takes people with common sense to change the world. This can be done by prayer by everyone. Only God can help the United States and the other countries to be a better place.

if you think he is any different you are mistaken. barack hussein obama (yes thats his real name) has a lot of issues of his own. his admitted use of pot and cocaine (funny how everyone attacks bush for drinking and driving in college), his numerous affairs (his wife confirms and everyone wanted to nail clinton for that), he was schooled in a madrassa a fundamental islamic school. the only thing different from him and a alot of other politicians is he is quieter and not given to patting himself on the back or grabbing for the microphone every two minutes but you watch that will change. a politician is a politician..and the stench of dishonesty, corruption and being power hungry envelopes them all....barack is no different.

he'd help fix up the issues in Darfur, pull us our of Iraq, help the common people, stand up for people's rights, ect

I think he'd be a good leader. I do hope we see more competition however- right now there's only two or three democrats and two or three republicans who have said they will run- all the others are 'unsure'
