what are the cultural differences I should be concerned with dating a Nigerian man?

I am a single mom and recently met a very nice gentleman. Although I am somewhat intrigued by him I have very serious concerns because he is Nigerian. I am afraid that our culture may be severly different. I notice he is very aggressive in pursuing a realtionship for examble after meeting him once for about 30 mins and then talking for a few days over the phone he asked me to be his girlfriend. Now had that been an American man I would run fast ... I have the empression it maybe a cultural difference and I want to give him a chance but not sure if he is a stalker! Can someone give me some dating advise in regards to Nigerian men please. He is sweet and I might be over reacting lol

There is a vast cultural difference between your country and his and one or both of you will have to try to bridge it.

I say that you have to ask your heart and follow your senses.
Cultural differences are important but not necessarily be the reason for not being emotionally involved or be in love, or feel the harmony in your relationship.
Just ask your heart and he will tell you if this is right for you or not.
Many relationships from same cultures will end up in pain and tears.
But I can feel that you already saw a red flag. So, be careful.

In his home country it is usual for a man to have several wives and girlfriends. He might be used to get served by women while he just sit around doing nothing
