If it's a pop song this should work!

I don't know of a website but there is a UK company called Shazam (their website is http://www.shazam.com/music/portal) where you can play a pop song down your mobile phone for about twenty seconds. It will hang up and then will text you the title. If you go to the link below it will tell you numbers for other countries. Ring 2580 and play.

If you are looking to be technically high level, you can only do this with a great teacher. Those that were self-taught always were missing some fundamental portion in their technique which would hold them back in the classical area (where most of the truly difficult pieces are). Classical training is money well spent, no matter where you intend to go musically. You'll learn reading, you gain proficiency to play anything.. it opens up choices. Get a good teacher and you'll see why this is true.

there is a site on the o2 webpage that will give you the number to call on your mobile for 'shazam'
you call this number and it 'listens' to your music for 30 secs and then drops the call

there is a small charge for it and it poss only has pop music on there but if you are desperate.....

PLEASE say it's not that "knuckle song" -- where you roll your nuckless over the three black keys and then tap the top and bottom black keys. I don't think that thing has a name.

The only other all black key song I know is "Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater."

On this website you can tap the song out on your keyboard and see if it recognizes the song, or songs like it in its database.
