I get that some of you here aren't old enough to recall them, but TV used to be pure family entertainment and, of course, the news without showing so much hatred and violence like we see these days. Remember when one wasn't allowed to even say "pregnant," until All in the Family was permitted to use racial words and now it's b*itch, sl*t, . . . it's become open game.

Ohhhh, the good ol' days. Some of the good programs are now on paying channels (cable, sattlelight . . . . ).

Yeah, I remember. But there are still some good clean family oriented shows on these days, so you can watch them on PBS, and CMT, and TV Land

Steer clear of BET, MTV, and The Sopranos...
