Oh Heck No...I have no desire to be waifishly thin and thank goodness, my husband doesn't expect it either. I'm a BBW and I am proud of it. To be a size 0 isn't healthy, either physically or emotionally. American culture today expects women to be small and demure, which is a crock. We should be proud of who we are and what we were given. We were made this way for a reason. Girls - stand up, be proud of who you are, don't aspire to be Paris Hilton or Nicole Richie unless you want to be disrespected by most of the world. Men - if you are that shallow that you have to have a skinny bimbo on your arm, you should be shot.
No offense to the small women out there who are a size 0-4 for medical or non-chemical reasons. If you are that small and not anorexic...bless you

I don't think Hollywood celebrities are thin, they are just taking care of themselves too much. Yes there are anorexic people, but in general the females are curvy and the skinny ones always end up looking for help. I used to be size 1 but now either 3 or 4 but not dieting, I was just born with high metabolism I don't gain weight easily.
Unless a woman is 6'5 tall and modelling, I she should keep ideal weight, not more not less.

I am a size 0-2 depending on the brand of clothes and that is totally normal for me because I am really small. I wish I could be a heavier person sometimes because some women who are larger than me look very pretty at their size. It just wouldnt work for me. I could care less about Hollywood.

I just want to be healthy, and I don't care if that's a size 18! Movie stars are looked up to, and the camera does add 10 lbs., so yeah...a lot of them look anorexic to me.
I find that men are attracted to all shapes and sizes, but it is mostly about a person's confidence, etc. I wish our little girls had better role models than Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan!!

It sure seems that way doesn't it. I think really fancy designers size their stuff differently so that you can SAY you wear a 2 but it is really an 8. I weigh 127 lb. and in the cheap stuff I often have to get a large top but in the fancy stuff which I can rarely afford I can wear a medium or an 8 or 10.

No. I'm a small woman. I wear a size 4, but I need to gain at least 10 lbs. It's difficult for me to gain because I eat a very healthy diet, but I'm working on it. I don't have an eating disorder--far from it--I'm just petite, but I know I'd look better if I gained a few lbs.

i'm not satisfied with my weight at the moment, but i don't aspire to be super skinny. i'm a size 10, and i hope to get to a 6/8, but if i don't, that's fine. the main thing i want to be is HEALTHY.

I'm 5'6 125 pounds. I love my curves. Its all about how you feel comfortable. If you feel comfortable at 110 or even 160, its all in you. Unfortunately the media has a lot to do with influencing girls about they way they should feel about themselves. Which truly sucks.

length 0 genuinely. somebody with all their bones protruding looks like they are relatively ill or something. BTW, by utilising as we communicate's standards, 18 isn't that surprisingly obese anymore. i will settle fortuitously in the midst of the two extremes, thank you.

Good question! Nope, I'd never want to be super-skinny. I love having plenty of curves to flaunt!
