They're OK, but the Palmer House Hilton and The Drake are far better. If you go to their websites, you can also get great deals. Last summer I stayed at the Drake in a beautiful room with a view of Oak Street Beach for $99/night.

The Westin Michigan Ave. is an older building, but very nice. Visiting baseball teams stay there during the summer.

Typical 4 star hotel. Ussualy large, well equipped with dining and bar options, and very good at handling corporate travelers. The room quality is very nice and the beds are among the best ogin. Individual hotel quality itself may very anywhere from around average to oustanding ( beach resorts or vacation areas are the best). But they will always be good enough for most people.

Very nice hotel on Michigan Avenue right next door to the Hancock Building. Many sport teams play there and the late pitcher Darryl Kile of the St Louis Cardinals died there.

I love the Westins. The showers are the best. All the rooms have fancy double shower heads. The Beds are really comfy too!!
