Hot Dogs and Pizza is what Chicago is known for. But, I had a good burger at Mr Beef's. That place has great Italian Beef Sandwiches. It's nothing special as far as building appearance--so don't get scared. It's on Orleans, and Jay Leno's favorite place. I had some good food a couple doors down at the Green Door Tavern too.

The Assembly
Actually it's in Hoffman Estates, like 25 minutes out of Chicago, but right off of 90. They are amazing!

Chicago is a hot dog town, but you should try the Billy Goat (original location) on Michigan beneath the Wrigley Building.
It's famous.
