And why are some so bad? Are they only letting the very good and the very bad get far enough to make it front of the judges? If so, thats BS!

SOme people have no real idea about their limitations, thus the really bad performances (hom many times was "Kiss" mangled in Minneapolis?)

it's more like 100,000 contestants
they pick the worst and the best to send to the audiotion room with the judges, the judges only heard about 1000 people sing, the rest never meets the judge
they pick the worst, so it's funny, it makes good tv (if you call it that)
and some of the best are pre picked before the show, so the final 10 already knwos they will be in the final 10, and been paid to train by fox, I know this becasue i'm a big fan

Yup. It's true. That makes it kinda fixed, don't ya think. Especially the bad ones. Those people HAVE to know they have been chosen because they are bad and are likely to be mocked. Guess some people will do almost anything to get on TV! Still great entertainment and enormous, money making ratings. I can't wait till the real competition starts!

You are correct... They have a screening team to listen to everyone before hand, so the big 3 only have to listen to the very good and very bad before the cameras...

i think some of the people pretend to sing just to get on national tv anyway they just keep letting the people that make it to the next round sing again then they narrow it down then america starts voting on who can sing and who can't

Yeah, and they rarely show the ones that make it to Hollywood, so when the Top 24 or whatever air, you're like "Who are these people?"

because every1 thinks they r good. and no they have every one that shows up do it but because they have a certain amount of running time they show some of them.
