I was Tor Johnson from "Plan 9 From Outer Space". I bought a really great mask from www.deathstudios.com.
It wa slike wearing and oven on my head!. But it looked cool.

Probably was this years (see icon). I dressed up as a girl. Went all out and bought the whole outfit ... a leather mini-skirt, matching top, high heels with black nylons, blonde wig, ect. Even the uncomfortable underthings to finish it off right. A Pain to wear all day and I could barely walk by the end of it all but a great costume that sure got a lot of attention (especially from a girl who was dressed as a sailor ;-) ).

I was a One-Dollar bill one year. I found a George Washington mask at the costume store. Then I bought some white poster board and drew the background from a dollar bill. I cut out the center and held it up to my head. It worked pretty well. People thought it was hysterical.

I have been... A Pink Crayon, A Yo-Yo, (my older brother did this) An Andalite from a childhood book series called The Animorphs, A very poor Gangster.
I personally think the Yo Yo one was pretty wild. I strung fabric around two hula hoops and wrote DUNCAN on it. hahah.

I dressed up as an aborted fetus. It was really disgusting. I wore a diaper, and attached a coat hanger to my head to make it look like it was going through it. I put fake blood around the spot where the coat hanger was coming out.
I also put pink makeup on my skin and I wore a bald wig so I looked like a newborn with no hair.
I was going to smear myself with jelly, but I thought that might get messy.
Most people thought it was funny, a few were disgusted and offended.

I went as a gypsy. I wore this frilly black skirt, with metal charms on it. And I painted this white shirt orange, blue, and purple. I tied a red scarf around my hair and wore long fingernails.

I was an evil fairy. I had a cute little black and pink corset and tiny skirt black wings and a wand and black fishnet stockings tall black boots and pink & black hair. Everyone loved it. I got lots of attention being in a country bar dressed like that!! It was fun.

a colored my arms legs and face with a yellow highlighter, put on a crazy wig, ear extentions, fake nose, and went as a troll. took me a couple days to wash it all of though.
