I would go small house, no toys and start a retirement fund. You dont want to be eating alpo when you retire. Start saving now! Live your wage.

I don't know your financials or where you are at in your life but if it was me and at the same stage in my life I would go with the smaller house and toys only for the simple fact that if financial problems occur or job loss its easier to sell off the toys in order to keep the house. If you invest only in the house and run into money problems what assets do you have? You can take out a second morgage but then you end up in a much deeper hole. Good luck with your home purchase.

I would want the house and the toys. That's how I roll. I have 4 wheelers, Dirt Bike, All Terrain Cart, Sea Doo, and a Air Boat. It's fun.

Since I hate to clean a big house, I'd go for the smaller house with better toys.

A big house. I like my art work space. Plus how are you going to fit all those toys in a small house.
