She knew the dangers. From what I read, she fely ill during the contest. She should of stopped, but also the DJ's should of seen the trouble and made her stop. I think both parties are to blame.

I think there is shared responsibility between the girl and the DJ's/radio station. They obviously did not have much common sense at all. But then, radio stations who are just looking for ratings generally hire people with little common sense because they are more willing to do stupid stuff just for the ratings. At the same time, anyone who is willing to participate in such an asinine activity must also accept responsibility for it. In this case, nature forced her to take responsibility.

I think both the DJ's and the victim are responsible. The DJ's should not have sponsored such a dangerous event, and the victim should have known better than to literally drown herself in drinking water. My condolences to her family.

The DJs were neglectful in my opinion. When warned of the dangers, they admitted they knew they were there and they went ahead with the contest.

Very tragic.

People are responsible for their own greed and stupidity. Hopefully, this idiot didn't breed before she killed herself for some prize she wasn't willing to work for. The gene pool is in enough trouble without any input from her and those like her.
