to me it sounds like donald sutherland but i do not know what movie,please help

i've been trying to figure that out for about 7 years, i remember the movie but not the name, it's not donald, it's some fat guy, the movie is futuristic, and it's about an island criminals are sent to after "society has no further use" for them, good movie, or was 15 years ago.
i found it, the movie is called "No Escape" made in 94, with Ray Liotta. your welcome.
