We are a family with 2 small kids thinking about moving to Plymouth from Brighton. Anyone has any advice/recommendations, etc? Thanks

Plymouth isn't all bars and clubs and fighting.. most places can lay claim to that anyway! Plymouth is cool. i lived there until recently, in a place called ivybridge.its 14 miles away from town. Yes there are sailors there, there are also marines,many businesses,a new shopping mall, beautiful place called the Barbican, and surrounding the area, the moors...and you are only a few miles(and a bridge) away from cornwall..
I love it there, i live in portsmouth now and hate it!!
id come back to plymouth tomorrow!

Bit quiet after brighton but its a lovely town with plenty of countryside to hand.

I came down here 1969 an never went back after my service time
in the Royal Navy its really nice here

Hi, we have family there. Its a nice place, but very busy. There also seams to be a shortage of jobs, but i guess that applies to most places.
