Take the sheets off of the bed. Most mattresses are made with handles on either side that are used for moving the mattress from place to place. These make an excellent place to tie off a silk tie or length of rope. Just be safe and keep a knife nearby in case you have to cut off the binds in a hurry. Things like rope, ties and scarves can sometimes pull tighter than you originally put them on, cutting off circulation. They can also become difficult to unknot, so you might have to cut them off because of that. Regardless, if the person being tied down experiences any tingling or numbness, cut the binds away immediately and massage the area to help with circulation. Nerves can also be pinched if binds become too tight, so be wary of this as well.

You could tie him up without necessarily tying him to the headboard. Maybe playfully tie his wrists together. If you want to get more hard-core, you could tie his wrists with the ties, make a knot in the tie, and loop the tie over the top of a door (with the knot on the opposite side), leaving him with his hands bound and over his head.
Blindfolds and ice cubes or flavored body gels go together well too. Have fun.

Be imaginative
Chairs, tables and a range of other furniture. Every been tied over an ironing board?
Why use anything?
Have you considered kneeling (on a cushion for comfort), with hands secured behind the back?
The sky's the limit if you think about it.
Good luck

Try tying him to the dining room table legs (or a couch) if you do not have a headboard.

As long as you have a bedframe, you dont need a headboard, just make sure you use soft restraints to prevent wrist chafing, and have a blast!!

be imaginative? who says you need a soft comfy bed?.... take him down into the basement... sometimes a cold hard concrete floor and a support post... or floor joist... is what you need to keep that naughty boy in his place... if you live in an Apt. there's always something bolted to the floor/wall/ ceiling.

Use a necktie. They are long enough and you can tie them to legs of the bed. They usually don't leave marks either..............
