I don't know about the Bahamas, but in Jamaica it was the same as the U.S. Probably because the bulk of the tourists are from the U.S. I would guess the same is true of the Bahamas.

Well actually it is the Bahamas that will have the same strength in its sockets as the US does,at 120 Vs and 60 Hz it is on par,but Jamaica on the other hand operates with110 V to 220 V on a 50 Hz basis,which means that, In the Bahamas their Electricity is stronger in frequency.Imagine someone slapping you in the face 50 time per second!,now imagine some one slapping you 60 time per second!,get the drift, it hurts doesn't it.60 Hz means that the generater has a shaft that is rotating a 60 times per second when generating electricity,that give it and oscillating frequency in magnitude and direction and strength.

Same as US. You can us US $$$ there also, but don't panic if you carry a Bahamian dollar home, they recognize them at foreign exchange.

Same as the US, except when they are having their power surges. Your hair drier will work there.
