MBTA won't be of much help.

If you are coming from Hyannis, you will want to jump on the bus to go the bus Hyannis Transportation Center/Terminal for Plymouth & Brockton. Its right on Main Street.

They run buses to and from Boston several times a day. I included the time schedule for them.

The closest commuter rail to Hyannis seems to be Plymouth Station, about 30 miles away. You can take the commuter rail to South Station, Boston from there.

P&B (Plymouth and Brockton) bus line will take you straight from Hyannis to Boston (and many places in between). Good luck

I think you'd have to see if there's a bus from Hyannis to Plymouth. Then Commuter rail from Plymouth to South Station.

No MBTA service goes to or from Hyannis. You have to drive. Take 495 North to Exit 22 (Mass Pike), take the pike eastbound into Boston.
