Generally it is recommended that you test no sooner than 2 weeks following sex as the fertilised egg will not have implanted until then. You can test up to 5 days before your period is due with about 50-60% accuracy increasing as you get closer to your period. Ideally when you take the test, use your first pee of the day as it will be more concentrated and should give you a better chance of an accurate result (didn't want to say positive or negative cos you didn't say which you'd prefer). If there is any HCG (the hormone that the stick tests for) it is more likely to pick it up if the urine is concentrated.

Ok, first of all whenever you think you might be pregnant...Try not to stress out too much because that can make you be late. Also about pregnancy tests I believe you have to wait until you missed a period, then take a test and if it's negative but you're still worried try a few more in the following weeks.

I dont think a test would be accurate this early. The earliest you should take a pregnancy test is two days before your period is expected to come. Even then the test is not very accurate. Your better off waiting until you have missed your period.

Up to 5 days before your next period, but it would only be about 60% accurate then. Wait until the first day of your missed period for a more accurate result.

You can get tets that can predict your pregnancy very early. But not that early!
I'd wait a couple o weeks or at the most for your period time and see what happens. But this is coming from a bloke. Mind you i do have four kids, so i think i'm still qualified :)
If your not sure, ask your GP. He's/she's an expert and will give you definate answers.

Really it all depends on your period.... and when you are supposed to start if its in the next 5 days there is a test you can take that tells you sooner, however to be safe wait untin you see you've missed it for sure because nerves and stress can also corrupt your cycle!!!

The test could come out wrong so I wouldn't waste my time. Wait until a day or two AFTER you should have started your perios, especially since you may not be having any signs that you may be pregnant.

Today seems to be a bit early.
Do you have a special reason for wanting to take a test, were 12. and 13. january your fertile days?

you need to wait at least 2 weeks after you have ovulated to get an accurate result....take a test around the time your period is due if you havent started.
