I think that if you need to cry, that's what you should do. I would think that repressing what you're feeling (no matter how unusual for YOU) would be a lot more harmful for the baby than simply having a good cry. I've never heard of crying *hurting* anybody! Hang in there - it gets better :-)

I'm going through the same thing. I fight w/ my boyfriend constantly and I even cried during a quit smoking commercial last week. I'm 21 weeks, so I can't tell you it will get easier. I spend a lot of time alone, just relaxing. I also work w/ an alzheimers patient, so that really eats away at my patience. I take 10 mg of Lexapro, that seems to help even though it's half of my regular dose. Other than that, just look forward to after the baby is born. You will be so tired you won't have energy to get mad!

Girl, that is part of the process. Your body is going through some drastic changes, and your hormones are going arye!!! I was the same way during my pregnancy. I was more moodier, I cried more, yelled at my man more, it's really difficult that first trimester to get into the groove, It won't really go into cruise control until you get into the fifth month or so, but every woman is different. But just say active like taking small walks and reading pregnancy books.. and I watched the baby story every morning and afternoon I wasn't working on TLC so that helped. But find something that relaxes you and don't get yourself to much in a fuss because the baby feels stress and you don't want that for either of you.

Unfortunalty, moodiness is one of the lovely side effects of pregnancy. You have a lot going on in your body right now. Something that really helped me when I would get to where I couldn't take anymore was just to get by myself. Take a day of work and go to the mall or curl up with a good book. Focus on something besides being pregnant for a few hours. Treat yourself, pamper yourself and explain to your boyfriend that you love him but you just need a bit of time to yourself. I bet anything you will feel like a new person the next day.

Its totally normal. Its your hormones that are making you crazy. Once I got so crazy I screamed at the waiter for not re-filling my coke. Just realize when you get angry that its just hormones and try to calm yourself down. When you feel like you are about to freak out take a couple minutes to remove yourself from the situation and take a walk outside. Listen two some music and relax. Remember that things are not a big a deal as you think they might be.

Take a small break when you fell it coming on. Go to the restroom and splash water on your face. Take a small walk around the block or even just to another spot at work. Anything to get your mind focused on not being upset.
I actually threw myself into pre term labor when I got so upset over my mom's dog passing away. Your body will do funny things if you continue to loose control of your emotions.

Hey, well I fully understand how you feel.... right now your body is undergoing so many changes.... if its a serious problem then I suggest you ask your doctor... but an easy way is to keep a snack around some crackers, vegetables, or your favorite candy, maybe even a bottle of water.... my favorite was chewing on gum it has a strange way of calming your nerves.... good luck and congrats on the new bundle of joy!!!

You'll be fine!! Even though it's like having PMS on steriods!! Try and relax. You should start feeling better in another month or so. Try and make your boyfriend understand that it's not him. When something is getting you upset, try and find humor in yourself. Take a deep breath and try to enjoy your pregnancy. It'll all be over before you know it.

ugh! i am the same way!!! i hate it. i cry and cry over pretty much NOTHING! and i feel like a dork but i cant help it. i have been soo moody latley but my fiance takes it pretty well i think for as mean as i can get. i try not to take it out on him too much though. i cry on certain commericals and my emotions are all over the place.
when i stress out i try to just go in another room, watch tv, listen to music, and sometimes take a warm bath! sounds gay but its actuall works most of the time...
