I don't want to seem cruel but let's take it apart before I say what I see...
Good jobs..nice lifestyle...comfortable incomes...no problems..
You don't party or mess around...
I'd say your bored. Some times people get bored, in a rut, a typical "what's next" from life.
Just like the "stay at home Mom", her home is clean and orderly, the kids are well behaved or left the nest, her sewing and laundry all caught up. Hubby home every night for dinner and TV and bed. Her life becomes stale or stagnant. She thinks there has to be more to life than this. Everyone tells her to get a job, join a club or volunteer. Seems easy, huh?
You and your wife are like this housewife. Your orderly life has become stagnant. Your wondering where to go from here, oh not out loud, but it's what life is screaming at you. Unlike the housewife where her mind is wondering what next it's your marital relationship that is left in a wondering state as to what next. You could try the "get away, second honeymoon trip" or a "spice up your sex life" book but I think your past that now, what with the therapy and all.
Three remedies I'd go with...1) get a divorce and start over...2) someone quit their job (a small change) ...3) continue as you are but make a life style change here and there, like go out once a week or on weekends to a party or lounge, see how the other half lives, order a mixed drink and let loose you inhabitions in life, I'm not saying become a drunk but a glass of wine will let you relax, a nice slow dance in each others arms might help both of you unwind a little...seems both of you are too uptight with life itself...you have everything going for you...enjoy it together

Maybe the well placed things are getting in the way of your marital relationship. Is the problem sex or love or lack of communication? All these other things probably take the place of intimacy. If you can get away from the kids for a weekend, go somewhere you can communicate and try to rekindle the love and make love to each other. Recapture what attracted you to each other in the first place.

Sounds like everything in your life is good. Maybe you need to "shake" things up a little. Sometimes too much good is not such a good thing. Do you guys go out? Spend any qulity time alone? Take her on a weekend trip or something nice. Or maybe she needs a little time to herself. It's normal, I think all women do sometimes. Treat her to a visit to the spa...a massage...a facial..anything that will let her know you are thinking of her.
