and was living off his family, so I asked him to be my p. Our work is 80% legal writing for our clients. I just found out he doesn't understand quotation marks means a direct quote, which leads me to suspect something is wrong with him. He's not completely illiterate,but may be dyslexic. It would be cheaper to put him on medical leave bkuz he will screw up the biznes, should I take a chance on going bankrupt, starve n not b able to pay ppl living off my tax dollars?

I suggest you be honest with him and tell him what the problem is so you both can work out a solution. You can also recommend him a program he can take to improve his quotation marks such as Microsoft Student with Encarta or you can just hire me! lol..Hope this help

I think you have two options. Look for your friends strengths or abilities that you can maxmize for your business. Or you can hire him on a part time basis, while he participates in writing classes part time. Is there anything else he can do? Have you asked your friend why he's never had a decent job?
