What a great question. I totally agree with Fred Dryer. He is a natural. If you are asking about college players also, I'd have to add Burt Reynolds and Ronald Reagan.

My choice is the ROCK. He played college football in Florida. Terry Bradshaw is OK and the guy who played Al Bundy on Married with Children also played Pro football.
