I went through quite a few sites and all I could find is that Masika does mean "born during rain". There is also Masika M'Ku: greater rains; and Masika M'dogo: lesser rains.

Masika is also a native American Cheyenne name meaning "of the wind".

Masika is Swahili - it is the term for one of the rainy seasons. It is not Egyptian.
