I got a beauty set for christmas and i'm not sure what thease words mean please help me

Cleanser-self explanatory...cleans your skin of dirt, oil, makeup, etc.
Exfoliator-removes dead skin cells
Toner-removes anything the cleanser didn't and moisturizes and refreshes your skin

Use in this order...
cleanser-loosens surface dirt/oil/make-up so that it can be rinsed away with water.
Exfoliator-grains or chemical component to help lift off dead skin, surface layers in order to have a smoother complexion.
Toner-usually a alcohol based liquid to help lift off any leftover oil or cleanser. It makes skin look tighter and pores smaller. Can be drying to sensitive skin if it is alcohol based. Always use a moisturizer with sunscreen, after these three steps!!

exfoliator - gently scrubs skin to remove dead layers and reveal fresh new cells, which means brighter skin.
cleanser - skin care product that removes oily residue, makeup, dirt, and sometimes dead skin cells.
toner - used after the cleanser, and cleans any last traces of dirt that may be left, as well as returning the skin to its natural pH.
