Laptop RAM is historically much, much smaller. Also the pins are different most of the time so that they can sit at odd angles, or completely horizontally. So I would say with 99.99% positivity that you cannot do that. Go to crucial.com and look up what ram your desktop takes and compare it to what your laptop takes.

Because the inside of a laptop is so much smaller than the inside of a desktop, the memory for a laptop is much smaller (usually around an 1 1/2 in lenght), while the memory for a dektop is about six inches long. You would not be able to physical fit the memory from one into the other.

No this is not possible. Technically there is no difference but the difference is in the size. The laptop RAM is much smaller as compared to that of the desktop

the difference is in the motherboards and general constraint in the laptop. remember that alot of stuff has to fit in a small space for a laptop. therefore some parts have to be redisigned like the ram. so you can't interchange the 2.

no u must be retarded (have u seen the size of ur labtop) its not gunna fit have u even seen inside ur computer that ram stick is about the same size as ur keyboard(up and down) oh and ram for desktop usually is clocked higher
